Trouw Nutrition´s team looks forward to join you and the poultry community in the International Conference on Poultry Intestinal Health to be held from the 30th of March to the 1st of April, 2022.
This year, the 7th Edition of the International Conference on Poultry Intestinal Health will be held as a hybrid event, with the possibility to join both virtually and in person the beautiful colonial city of Cartagena, Colombia.
The event is expected to bring together over 750 attendees from more than 50 nationalities as it was the case on last year’s edition.

About Alberto
An Agricultural Engineer specialized in farm animal production and Nutrition. After working as Ruminant Nutritionist for a premix company, he carried out his PhD through the University College of Dublin on methane emissions of enteric fermentation in ruminants.
In 2014, he switched species and joined the Poultry Research Centre as Poultry researcher until now. During this period Alberto has been in charge of a variety of poultry nutritional projects such as the Ca and P nutrition in broilers and pullets, the fatty liver syndrome in laying hens, feed structure in poultry diets and muscle myopathies. He is currently part of the R&D team in the dysbacteriosis project trying to provide solution to the ban of antibiotics while ensuring a good gut health in broiler chicken.

About Rosa
Rosa received her DVM from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2006. After graduation, she worked as a Research Technician for the same university from 2006 to 2016 and during this time (2010), she started her master in animal nutrition in 2010 focusing on the effect of probiotics in poultry diets. In 2016, she joined Trouw Nutrition as a Poultry Nutrition Researcher at the Poultry Research Centre located in Toledo, Spain. As a member of the R&D department, Rosa has been working on several nutritional strategies and feed additives to improve gut health and performance in poultry. She is also a PhD candidate at the Autonomous University of Barcelona carrying out research on young animal nutrition.
